For Children:

The aim for our children's Sunday school is to give our kids a basic knowledge of the contents of the Bible. One of the most important parts of that goal is to explain the gospel to them in its totality. It also includes catechizing them, which involves giving the kids a sufficient theological framework for understanding the entire teaching of the Bible.

The truth is that kids have a great deal of potential. We don’t need to downplay the difficult teaching of Scripture for fear that they won’t understand. Whenever you challenge them, they’ll always surprise you. We have a high standard for the teaching of our children, putting them in the place to come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, and preparing them for continued growth in Christ later in life.

For Teenagers:

When a person reaches junior high age, they enter adulthood. Granted, they are inexperienced adults who still need a lot of instruction, but they are adults nonetheless. Many of the people we know as "heroes" of the faith—David, Daniel, and Mary—were teenagers as their stories unfolded. It's that perspective that directs the training of our teenaged youth. We want to challenge them to grow into maturing adults, showing them how faith connects with the real stuff of life. We want to help them find their place in the local church and in the world.

But don't be concerned, there's still plenty of room for socializing there, too!

It should be noted that we don't want our Christian education programs for children and teens to be a substitute for training that the Lord has designed for the home. We see our role as one that comes alongside parents to supplement and strengthen the ways they're already teaching their kids.

For Adults:

Our theology—the way we understand the Bible's teaching—plays a very important role in our lives. We're dependant on it more than we may know. Our adult Sunday school is an opportunity to dive into topics aimed at helping people develop their theological understanding.

Beyond giving people a working knowledge of the contents of Scripture through an annual Bible reading program, we provide theological coursework in areas like systematic theology, apologetics, Christian worldview, church history, and missions and evangelism.

Our passion is to see people transformed by the renewing of their minds.
