The Storyline of Scripture

Teacher(s):

As the old saying goes, it is easy to miss the forest for the trees. Unfortunately, we often miss the grand storyline of Scripture and the glory of God’s redemptive plan amid the many details of each book of the Bible. In our upcoming spring Sunday school class, The Storyline of Scripture, we will gain a clear understanding of the main theme of God’s Word—King Jesus and his kingdom. Beginning in Genesis, we will seek to understand what Jesus meant when he said: “These are my words that I spoke to you while I was still with you, that everything written about me in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms must be fulfilled” (Luke 24:44). The Storyline of Scripture aims to strengthen your understanding of how Scripture fits together, encourage you to study the Old and New Testaments with greater confidence, and equip you to seek and find the glory of Christ on every page. Join us in the Fellowship Hall on Sunday, January 17th as we examine the big picture of God’s Word—the story of the King and his kingdom!
